Twenty-nine states post annual transfer to criminal court counts in online reports or website resources.

NCJJ has posted an update to state reported transfer trends on the JJPGS.  Twenty-nine states support annual reporting that is publicly available on websites or annual statistical reports.  Only a handful of states (6) report pathway detail aligning with the different policy doorways youth are sent to adult court like judicial waiver, prosecutor discretion and statute age and offense exclusions from juvenile court.  A number of states have trend lines with recent and fairly steep downward slopes for the number of youth transferred to criminal court, including, Arizona, California, Florida, and Maryland.
